Mainstream Martial Arts Programs

Classes We Offer

Little Ninja's

Our Little Ninja's program is for kids ages 4-6. Students learn kicks, punches, blocks, and patterns to prepare them for more advanced material as they get older. The program improves discipline and places a focus on your child, emphasizing respect towards instructors, parents, and peers. In addition, students will practice personal accountability as they are responsible for their belt, uniform, and knowledge of the curriculum.

Mainstream Tae Kwon Do

We offer both Junior (ages 7-12) and Adult (13+) Tae Kwon Do classes. Tae Kwon Do is an ancient martial art from Korea meaning "way of the hand and foot," using both hands and feet. These classes focus on building physical and mental discipline. Each class begins with a warm-up and stretching, before moving onto a variety of martial arts techniques, drills, and patterns using the hands and feet to improve self-defense, physical coordination, and focus.

Weapons

Weapons class is offered to all mainstream juniors and adults as well as our adult adaptive students. This is a separate class offered on our schedule that integrates the use of weapons into very practical practices. Weapons we work with include: NunChakus, Escrima Sticks, Bo Staff, and Kamas. Currently, we are working with Escrima Sticks. These originated in the Philippines and originates from the Spanish word "esgrima," which means "fencing." The practice has been around over 3000 years and is still taught today.
